Sometimes I also pick the radicchio ...Good for you! Sometimes I also pick the radicchio out of a mixed salad. It has a slightly bitter taste, and if I'm not in the mood for that, it goes! But, a reader commented to try grilling it with a little olive oil. Then, squeeze on fresh lemon and a sprinkle of parm/regg cheese. Now, that sounds amazing! Maybe the grilling takes the "edge" off? It has a slightly bitter taste, so I like it mixed with other sweeter greens and a fruity vinagrette dressing.
